Why Jonah
Why Jonah
It's now been over a year since I started this website, so the time has come for me to either stop it, or fully embrace it. I want to start writing articles that people can use on a regular basis. It's important to know the bible and to always be reading it. But to live a Christ like life, you need a whole lot more. You need to know what it's like to do things day in and day out. That brings me back to Jonah. Why start a website and a blog if you aren't going to do it on a regular basis? Why promise that a podcast is coming, when it all actuality you aren't that far along with it? It reminds of being a new christian, at the start, you are so motivated. You want to tell the whole world everything that you are thinking. You really believe that you have been given a task by God to go and tell the world. When God told Jonah what to do, he ran. After doing the website and blog for a few months, I ran! I still believe that God wants me to do a website and blog, but as soon as life got hectic or it became work, I stopped. I want to be obedient, just like Jonah eventually was. My goal is to get all caught up on the blog in the next few months. By the end of the year, I want a post for every book in the bible. I also want to write more short articles like this. In the next few weeks we will talk more about why I love Jonah so much.Â
